Responsible for the Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa territories, the Regional Account Manager (RAM) will successfully grow Tetraphase’s lead product, Xerava. The RAM will be accountable for building awareness, advocacy, and access for Xerava. This may be accomplished by partnering with a variety of customers including Infectious Disease Specialists, Surgeons, Critical Care Physicians, Pharmacy Directors, Hospitalists, and Microbiologists. The ideal candidate will consistently operate with integrity and possess subject matter expertise in both the infectious disease market and hospital / health systems setting including knowledge of ID market dynamics, hospital / health system infrastructure, formulary review process, and HIT systems.
The RAM will be responsible for achieving and maximizing territory and account sales goals through account management, high level clinical proficiency and effective selling. Xerava is our first approved product from our novel antibiotic discovery engine. This position will contribute to the future sales growth of a strong pipeline of new products that are expected to follow.
Repsonsible for covering NYC, NJ, Philadelphia, DC and Delaware, the Sr/Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is a scientific resource capable of conducting high level scientific and strategic interactions across product and disease states with external thought leaders as well as internal Tetraphase stakeholders. MSLs are responsible for supporting medical education, training, clinical, non-clinical and health economics and outcomes research for Tetraphase products. The MSL ensures appropriate scientific exchange, develops peer relationships with thought leaders and content experts and provides balanced scientific support to healthcare professionals on behalf of Tetraphase and Tetraphase Medical Affairs in their geographic region. The MSL has a deep understanding of the scientific trends within the infectious diseases and acute care environment and routinely synthesizes their scientific field insights and communicates to the appropriate headquarters-based colleagues (Medical Affairs, Senior Management, Corporate Communications, Clinical Research, Business Development, etc).
