    The Senior Manager, Revenue and Supply Chain Accounting will play a key role here at Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals as we make the exciting transition from clinical to commercial stage specialty pharma company.  This highly visible position will lead all aspects of our revenue and supply chain accounting cycle, including assisting in the development of revenue recognition and inventory capitalization accounting policies, shaping the Finance support model for revenue and supply chain, driving the monthly revenue/COGs/inventory close processes, and providing Finance support on various other key commercial and supply chain initiatives. 

    Responsibilities

    • Act as Finance lead for all aspects of revenue and supply chain
    • Build strong relationships across our Commercial, Supply Chain and Finance teams
    • Liaise with our Third-Party Logistics Provider (3PL) and Contract Manufacturers (CMOs) to understand and manage revenue and inventory data flows
    • Lead the monthly close process for revenue and inventory
    • Perform ongoing and ad hoc analysis on various aspects of revenue and our supply chain, including gross-to-net
    • Oversee government price reporting and rebate reimbursement payment requests

    Qualifications

    • 5-7 years of public or corporate accounting experience, including direct revenue recognition accounting experience
    • Biopharma industry experience required
    • Strong understanding and experience with applying US GAAP accounting and SOX/internal control requirements
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – pivot tables and other analysis tools
    • Ability to multitask, work independently, and meet deadlines
    • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.  Strong team player.
    • Strong written, oral & presentation skills
    • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
    • CPA (preferred, not required)
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline
