  • Overview

    Tetraphase Pharmaceuticals is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support our Commercial organization.  This is a newly created role supporting 5 remote sales directors, Sales Operations Director and Marketing Director. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple executives. This position reports directly to the Executive Assistant to the CEO.


    • Manage multiple calendars with internal/external stakeholders, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts
    • Prioritize and manage multiple projects including occasional projects in collaboration with other administrative staff
    • Planning and execution of logistics for meetings and special events
    • Create, edit and proof presentations, documents and reports
    • Some responsibility for travel arrangements and expense reports


    • Associate degree with 3-5 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical company or related environment
    • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and multitask
    • Ability to adapt to changing needs of the Commercial team
    • Should be able to promote positive working relationships with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
    • Enthusiastic and adaptable with a proactive and independent approach to work
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook necessary
